Sportwear

The starting point of this project was the creative process itself. I wanted to explore a theme that captures energy, momentum, and explosive movement—qualities deeply rooted in the world of sports. Almost instinctively, I found myself drawn to an unexpected realm: food. The element that connected these two seemingly distant worlds was popcorn.

I became fascinated by the transformation of a corn kernel into popcorn—from its growth in the field, through harvesting and drying, to the moment it pops. This process reflected, for me, a physical and emotional metaphor for tension and release—just like the body in motion during athletic activity.

This inspiration translated into several design aspects: a color palette inspired by golden corn and bright, airy popcorn; voluminous, expanded silhouettes; material choices that balance playful drama with technical performance; and textures that evoke stretch, motion, and burst.
